God didn't make you to be a
HI, I’M KAITLYN. AND I BELIEVE…
As an NFL photographer and athletics graphic designer, I spent my days on the 50-yard line in the adrenaline rush of football games and taking photos of famous athletes. My career looked glamorous from the outside, but being underpaid, working 80-hour weeks, and living in a totally different state from my friends and family drove me to burnout.
When I first started my business, I had just quit what I thought was my dream job.
...create for inspiring brands, and do work that feels more like building a legacy than clocking in. It was the best thing I’d ever done, but also the scariest. What if I couldn’t stand out? What if I couldn’t build something on my own? I stepped out in faith, trusting that God would show me the way. That’s when I fell in love with branding.
At 23, I moved back to Grand Rapids to have the freedom to work for myself...

I've read Atomic Habits three times because I'm fascinated by how tiny changes create massive results. Even in my garden, I love checking each morning to see if my seeds magically grew overnight (I'll probably be working on being more patient for the rest of my life).
Nothing compares to witnessing my clients transform from doubt and uncertainty to absolute confidence. Seeing that moment when you finally recognize your own vision? That's the real magic that gets me out of bed at 6:00am (well, that and my hazelnut lattes of course– I’m only human).

Quality food is my love language, and I love hosting parties where the tablescape gets as much attention as the food.
I’m obsessed with Ralph Lauren– if I could be a coastal grandmother living in a Nancy Myers-inspired house, that would be the dream.
I love antique shopping. I love things that get better with time, like a good glass of wine. It’s the old soul in me.
When I'm not behind the camera or deep in design mode, I’m searching for new restaurants like it’s the ultimate treasure hunt.
